Sydney Bridge Climb
You can climb the Sydney Harbor Bridge.
You basically walk from the base up to where the flags are.
Angie and Glendon got Tony and Courtney Bridge Climb passes at twilight! The views were spectacular and it wasn't so scary. They had a pretty clever latch that hooks you to a cable on the bridge. Also, the jumpsuits were pretty sexy. And the gear was great! They gave you so much gear (flashlights, headphones, two kinds of jackets, a radio, parachute [just kidding]...) you feel like Batman.
Thanks Angie and Glendon!!

The Manners
Tony and Courtney had the pleasure of meeting most of Glendon's siblings at dinner last night. We met Stuart and his wife Catherine and Darren and his girlfrend Alex. Lovely dinner at a Italian restaurant near the Symbiation office in North Sydney. Thanks for coming out to meet us! Darren and Alex

Pepper
Angie and Glendon have a maine coon just like Carrie and Tyler. Actually, Pepper is half maine coon. He's also irritable and crabby. Must be a maine coon thing. He's the resident office cat at Angie and Glendon's Symbiation offices.

Hunter Valley
The Hunter Valley is a wine producing area about 2 hours north of Sydney. Tony and Courtney went up for the day. While it started cold and rainy, it turned out be a perfect day.
We stopped in 5 wineries (Tempus Two, McGuigans, Draytons, Rosemount (OK, it was more of a tasting site located in an old church, the winery was about 30 miles away), and the Golden Grape (which should have been a cheese factory given what a tourist trap it was)).
Had a little lunch. Just a totally spectacular day.
Our favorite wine of the day: Rosemount Estates Balmoral Syrah 2004. Plum and cherry with hints of chocolate. Mmmm...

Manly Beach
We took the ferry to Manly beach on Sunday with Mum and Pa. It was a beautiful day!
The Pacific was beautiful! We had fish and chips by the beach.
On the way back, we got amazing views of Sydney. Oh, the Australian Idol finale was hosted there that night.
We ended the day at Billy Kwong, an organic chinese restaurant owned by Australian chef Kylie Kwong. Our niece Leela had pumpkin for the first time! It has less than 20 tables and serves simple, ingredient based chinese homestyle cooking. Delicious! Kylie also made a low key appearance, having dinner with a few friends in one of the corners of this crowded restaurant.

Paddington Market and Australia Museum
On Saturday Courtney and Tony went to the Paddington Market, a street market in the posh Oxford street district.
Courtney got a pair of ear rings and Tony got a belt. Additionally, we went to an interesting chocolate shop. (Pretty good hot chocolate. A bit snobby on the service, though.)
We also went to the Australian Museum. Lots of Indigenous Australia history as well as natural Australian exhibits.
We then walked through Hyde Park. The day actually cleared up!
