Hunter Valley

The Hunter Valley is a wine producing area about 2 hours north of Sydney. Tony and Courtney went up for the day.
While it started cold and rainy, it turned out be a perfect day.

We stopped in 5 wineries (Tempus Two, McGuigans, Draytons, Rosemount (OK, it was more of a tasting site located in an old church, the winery was about 30 miles away), and the Golden Grape (which should have been a cheese factory given what a tourist trap it was)).

Had a little lunch.
Just a totally spectacular day.

Our favorite wine of the day: Rosemount Estates Balmoral Syrah 2004. Plum and cherry with hints of chocolate. Mmmm...
